Snapped this shot as we entered European airspace. This is the coast of Spain just before dawn.
Russ picked us up at the airport and we were at their house by 9:00 am, 3:00 am eastern time. News-flash: Andrea actually slept some on the plane! She was able to stay up the whole day until we went to bed Thursday night. We had dinner at the Mayflower Chinese restaurant with the Roberts, Lee and Tony, and Ed and DeeDee Harrell. After dinner we went to have some spaghetti ice, which has neither spaghetti nor ice. Think vanilla ice cream extruded into spaghetti strings, with cream poured into the center, which freezes into little chips of frozen cream. Then top it off with strawberry syrup for the “tomato sauce”. Finally, they add some white chocolate chips for “Parmesan cheese”.
